Mum’s are the undisputed multi-tasking masters. Our innate ability to switch roles, tasks, expectations and juggle kids, work and life is what helps keep things moving on the home-front, and keeps us in front of the coffee machine every morning!
Summer comes with both it’s styling pro’s and con’s; less required layers means outfit components are minimised but, it can be so hot that it’s tempting to schlep it in a tank/shorts/jandals combo everyday!
Our clothes need to be as hardworking but as flexible as we are so I’ve created two capsule wardrobes for the Summer ‘16 season which can take us busy mums from beaching with the kids to Friday Wine-downs without batting an eyelid (or breaking the bank!)

What I’ve tried to do with Beach Boho and Busy Chic is to use complementary palettes so you easily mix’n match pieces from each look. Halve your investment and double your outfits ladies!
Beach Boho is definitely a seasonal trend, albeit one that is forever reappearing and reinventing itself. Think loose, flowing separates that are just perfect for casual, unfussy days. But, just picture that blush maxi skirt with a chic black tank and you’re ready for date night. Too easy!

Busy Chic is my go-to look whenever I have to leave the house with the assumption that I’m going to have to interact with another adult lol. Slightly more structured than Boho, you *may* need to use your iron on some of these pieces to keep this look polished and put-together, don’t be scared! I LOVE the Knot Skirt in this look and shirt dresses are everywhere this season so The Warehouse is nailing summer trends at some amaze prices.
