We have been enjoying some beautiful flowers from friends and family this week as we settle in to our new home.
These orchids are my favourite flower, I almost can’t comprehend cutting them to add to a bouquet, but someone else did and I love them.

In the midst of moving two houses into one, organizing an army of contractors and trying to maintain some semblance of normality, we celebrated my birthday on Monday.
Dave {of his own volition!} surprises me each year with a piece of Karen Walker jewellery and I must say he picked the perfect necklace this year. It matches my new tattoo and some KW earrings I already had. Love! He and Ethan also picked me out {among other things} a set of polar fleece onesie pajamas in pink polka dot. No pictures of that little number I promise!

Daily Look | On Sundays we rest
A couple of hours after the work on my foot was finished I began to feel the pain that I had been expecting (but was strangely absent) during the 3.5hr session. I am now laid up and immobile waiting for Dave to return home with more Ibuprofen. Oh, and the shower? You don’t want to know. -
Daily Look | Finally, a Pea Coat!
I have been coveting Pea Coats for years, I love the traditional boxy lines and double breasted military styling and I finally have one to call my own! And. It was cheap.
RRP $199 {still tres cheap} but right now Max have $50 off jackets! Now, I am a coat snob. I love coats, I may even collect coats and this is a good coat. It’s heavy and super warm, the fabric is stiff and holds it’s shape perfectly and at the price I’m happy with a 60% wool content.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing in the world that makes Ethan happier than rock pools. Money cannot buy the satisfaction that the beach and the animals that live there bring our son, but the rewards are priceless. Muriwai on Sunday was drop dead gorgeous stunning hot. Thank you!
